Oddy
Oddy is a creative production studio that develops visual projects for brands in all segments.
Videos, photographs and concept arts are the main results of its portfolio.
goal
The project’s goal was to develop a navigation experience that could enhance its portfolio and have variations.
The main requests from the customer were: convey strangeness to reinforce the identity of the name and develop the project based on the webflow animation system.
The research I carried out of similar ones showed a very large proportion of portfolios with rigid image and
text presentation systems.
Going in the opposite direction has become stimulating.
text presentation systems.
Going in the opposite direction has become stimulating.
results
The project began with studies to value images and variations in presentation standards. Subsequently, studies were carried out to add a bit of strangeness to the set, which was characterized mainly by vertical titles and subtitles, accompanied by the fluidity of the animations, as well as typography overlays on the images and different sizes of the frames on the main page of the portfolio.
These characteristics provide, in addition to strangeness, greater authenticity to the project and a significant variety in the gallery for the presentation of video and image projects.
The project is under development with the programming team and may still have updates.
my role
I was the only designer responsible for the development of the UI/UX project.
The development of the interface was carried out through a study from the webflow platform and based on my backend experience.
Directed by: João Vicente, founder of Oddy.

Vila Poente
Vila Poente is the editorial label responsible for Grupo Jacto publications and other associated organizations, created to support the knowledge generated in the institutional ecosystem. The website project was conceived and directed by Stefan Dyo Nishimura.
GOAL
The main objective was to present the publications in such a way as to value them individually, arousing interest in reading, in addition to creating an experience that could withstand time, considering the site would be fed by different types of publications over the years. The research that I did indicated that most publisher websites in Brazil quickly cite the works, with the cover image and a brief summary. Photos are underexplored, with the exception of a few global publishers.
results
The solution came through photography which features the visual of the site, and would convey a greater experience to users, as if they were close to the physical object, in addition to a more detailed description of the works. A minimal and organized visual preserved the protagonism of the publications.
After an analysis in 2023, it was possible to verify that there was no continuity in the preservation of the quality of the photography of the publications, which compromised the quality of the project. But it is still possible to understand the intention of the project, accessing at: vilapoente.com
